Books & More

First and foremost, Andy and Elliot's is a community center. We will provide a space for queer people of all ages to gather, participate in events, find information, and tell their stories.

Although we aren't a nonprofit, our goal isn't to make money. It's to get books into the hands of people who need them, regardless of the price. That's why part of our mission is to be 100% accessible to everyone regardless of disability, identity, or even income level.

In order to reach as many people as possible, we intend to offer a service no other bookstore has tried. For a small monthly fee, any patron of our store can borrow any book on our shelves for up to two weeks. If they want to keep it, they can pay from home. If they don't, they can return it at no cost.

What else have you got?

Besides books, Andy and Elliot's intends to offer a range of goods, from local art to greeting cards to coffee and pastries.

What about community outreach?

In order to help bring the community together, Andy and Elliot's will host multiple weekly events running the gamut from movie showings to game nights (and, of course, book readings and signings).

How can I help?

Spread the word! We're so excited to launch as soon as possible, and we can't do that without your help. Please like us on Facebook and then tell a friend.
